Resistance: Fall of Man, once known as I-8 under its working title, was a PS3 launch game from Insomniac Games, the developers of the Ratchet & Clank platform franchise. In this first-person shooter, players assume the role of U.S. Army Ranger Sgt. Nathan Hale during an alternate 1950s when a mysterious alien-like creature known as the Chimera take over Asia and Europe. The game features advance guns and grenades due to the Chimera technology and contains a 40-player online multiplayer as well as an offline co-op mode.
