With Aliens: Colonial Marines and the untitled Alien RPG still in development, Sega has announced a third Alien game will come out of their partnership with 20th Century Fox. But this time the xenomorphs won't be alone, as Sega has announced a new Aliens vs Predator game will be released in 2010.

Sega did not say which platforms the new AvP game would be released on (although the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are probably a safe bet), but they did say it would be developed by Rebellion, the company behind the first Aliens vs Predator game from 1999.

With this Aliens vs Predator announcement, Sega has also announced that they are delaying the release of Aliens: Colonial Marines. The game, which was originally scheduled to hit the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this year, will now be released in late 2010 at the earliest.
