News: I'm sure Xbox 360 owners are starting to feel left out.

YouTube is attempting to bring their bite-sized videos to a new home, the television, and the first step in this transition is creating a YouTube interface specificially for the PlayStation 3 and Wii web browsers.

Accessible through www.youtube.com/tv (this URL redirects to the YouTube homepage when typed into a computer), the YouTube For Television site offers a "streamlined interface, enlarged text and simplified navigation." The site also offers an autoplay option to make the experience feel more TV-like.

In the future, YouTube plans to integrate their TV-styled site into set-top devices that connect to televisions, but since the PS3 and the Wii are two of the only devices that provide this kind of web access through a TV, they get it first.
