News: Rocking Kicking ass in the free world.

Speaking of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Electronic Arts has revealed that the next update to the game will include two very special playable characters: Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

With this update, Pandemic is adding to a long running tradition that includes Bill Clinton and Al Gore's appearance in NBA Jam and anti-video game attorney Jack Thompson's appearance in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (wait, that was me pulling Jack's chain and him not understanding what a "character editor" is).

Here's the trailer featuring the two getting down and dirty in the Mercenaries world. I don't want to oversell it, but it's ten kinds of awesome:
