News: Are you ready to rock some more?
Harmonix has announced that they have released the "Export Disc" option for Rock Band in anticipation of Rock Band 2's impending release.
The Export Disc option will be available on the PlayStation 3 for $4.99 and on the Xbox 360 for 400 Microsoft Points and it will allow Rock Band owners to export 55 of the 58 tracks from that game into Rock Band 2. The only songs that will not be transferable are "Paranoid" (Black Sabbath), "Run to the Hills" (Iron Maiden) and "Enter Sandman" (Metallica).
This update is also required for all future downloadable tracks, so even if you have no plans to get Rock Band 2, you'll want to download it if you want to check out any future DLC.
