News: At least, the new DS and PSP Duke Nukem game does.

Apogee Software has announced that Duke Nukem is finally coming back to the video game world (and it's not Duke Nukem Forever, yet). They've announced that a new Duke Nukem game, titled Duke Nukem Trilogy, will be released for the DS and PSP in Summer 2009.

Duke Nukem Trilogy will be released as three separate games, Critical Mass, Chain Reaction and Proving Grounds, on both platforms. The new games will be built from the ground up to take advantage of each system's strengths. However, Both games will feature multiplayer modes.

"This marks a new beginning for a famous publisher with a history of market-making innovation," said Terry Nagy, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Apogee. "I can't think of a better character than Duke or a better franchise than the Trilogy to usher in a new era for Apogee."

We'll have more soon.
