News: How many gamers don't even care anymore?

Forget Carmen Sandiego, what in the world is up with Ubisoft/Free Radical's Haze?

The Ubisoft/Free Radical partnership was first announced in 2005 while the first details were revealed in 2006. At that time, Haze was set to be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Then the guessing games began.

First, it was rumored that Haze would be a timed exclusive on the PS3. Then it was confirmed that Haze would be a timed exclusive on the PS3.

A few days ago, Ripten reported that the two Ubisoft representatives they spoke to confirmed that Haze "will never make its way onto any other platform."

A few days later, Joystiq spoke to another pair of Ubisoft reps who were less firm, but said "as far as we know" Haze will be a PS3 exclusive.

This leads us up to today, with Ubisoft contacting CVG and saying that Haze is PS3 exclusive "for now."

So is Haze back to being a timed exclusive? Does every Ubisoft rep have a different story to tell? Does anyone even care whether or not Haze is PS3 exclusive (answer that question in our poll to the left)?

We'll hopefully find out the answers to all of those questions in May, when Haze is scheduled to ship for the PS3.
