Are you going to buy an Xbox One X This Holiday Season?

Hope to Receive it as a Gift

News: Insomniac's employees are, apparently, busy at work on the sequel.

Next November, something big is going to happen in the world of the PlayStation 3. Resistance: Fall of Man is getting an update in the form of? Resistance: Fall of Man 2, strangely enough.

The news was broken by an intrepid blogger known as Surfer Girl, who seems to have some in with Insomniac Games. Who is she? No one knows. Is she even reliable? No one knows that either. But what she has to say about Resistance 2 has taken the video game blogosphere by storm, so maybe there's some truth to her ravings.

While nothing's official thus far, Resistance: Fall of Man 2 is expected to take place in America, from Chicago to San Francisco and Nathan Hale, lead character of the previous game, will return, although that's not to say he'll be the star of the show this time round. So, what will be new in the sequel? Apparently multiplayer will now have vehicles (including air-based ones ? excited?) and at the end of the game, a cliff hanger will lead to a third game in the series. Is Insomniac milking it? Let's hope not, since there aren't enough details on Resistance: Fall of Man 2 to speculate just yet.

Will there be a Resistance 2? Of course there will. But it will probably be a long time before these details of the game are confirmed to be true or not.

Keep your eyes peeled, folks?
