E3 07: Rock Band track list announced, downloadable albums detailed @ Gaming Target

News: Harmonix is attempting to create a music festival.

Harmonix has released the first 16 songs that will make up the tracklist of their ambitious music game, Rock Band. It's a good mix of the 70s, 80s, 90s and today and the tracks include:

1970s
The Who - "Won't Get Fooled Again"
Mountain - "Mississippi Queen" (cover)
David Bowie - "Suffragette City"
Black Sabbath - "Paranoid" (cover)
Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper"
The Ramones - "Rockaway BeachФ

1980s
Rush - "Tom Sawyer" (cover)
Bon Jovi - "Wanted Dead or Alive"

1990s
Nirvana - "In Bloom"
Stone Temple Pilots - "Vasoline"
Weezer - "Say It Ain't So"
Foo Fighters - УLearn to FlyФ
Metallica - УEnter SandmanФ

2000s
The Hives - "Main Offender"
The Strokes - "Reptilia"
Queens of the Stone Age - "Go With the Flow"

The company has revealed their plans to release full albums as downloadable "levels" in the game. The first of these will be The Who's "Who's Next," which will include the following songs:

Other albums will eventually be made available in the future.
