News: What's coming from Hideo Kojima's employer.

Konami has lifted the curtain on their release schedule for 2007 and it's just as notable for what it doesn't contain as what it does.

Long assumed to be a 2007 release, Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PS3 is absent from the list. Also absent is the first PSP entry in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill Origins. Does it mean both of these highly anticipated titles will miss their projected 2007 release? Possibly, but there's no way to know for sure in February.

As for games that are on the list, Konami has thrown a lot of support behind the DS and Wii (including the first DDR game for the Wii). But that doesn't mean other systems are left out in the cold as the first Castlevania game for the PSP was also announced.
