News: New demos, trailers and behind-the-scenes video from two major game shows will appear on Xbox Live.

Microsoft's "Bringing It Home" promotion that flooded Xbox Live with new demos, trailers and videos during E3 this year was a huge success. And it almost singlehandedly put Lost Planet at the forefront of upcoming Xbox 360 games. So it looks like Microsoft decided to heed the words of the great Ernie Banks ("Let's play two!") when they announced the next "Bringing It Home" promotion.

Starting tomorrow, September 20 and running through 12:00 AM Pacific Time on September 29, Microsoft will once again be flooding Xbox Live with demos, trailers and videos. This downloadable content will come from the 2006 Tokyo Game Show (which runs September 22?24 in Chiba, Japan) and X06 (which runs September 27-28 in Barcelona, Spain).

While Microsoft is staying tight lipped about what demos will be available during those nine days, they have revealed a tentative list of games that will feature new trailers:

  • Call of Duty 3
  • Forza Motorsport 2
  • Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
  • Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom
  • Project Sylpheed
  • Shrek the Third
  • Viva Pi?ata
  • Other games that will be announced at TGS and X06

Microsoft has promised "more than 100 pieces of new downloadable content" will be available during this promotion and much of it will disappear when the midnight deadline passes on the 29th. Two Xbox Live Arcade titles will be released during this time and it will be revealed that a "major franchise" will be coming to the Arcade soon. Although with EGM reporting in last month's issue that both Castlevania and Sonic are coming to the XBLA, I imagine this announcement will be rather anticlimatic.

I think the rest of September is going to be a very fun month.
