Which console is going to rule E3 2013?

News: Your wallet is going to be hurting after this game heavy launch is over.



At Nintendo's press conference, Reggie revealed that the Wii would launch with 25-30 games between November 19 and the end of 2006. And we've uncovered the list.

It's been stated that the following games will be available on day one:

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Barnyard
  • Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II
  • Call of Duty 3
  • Cars
  • Chicken Little: Ace in Action
  • Excite Truck
  • Far Cry: Vengeance
  • GT Pro Series
  • Madden NFL 07
  • Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
  • Monster 4x4: World Circuit
  • Need for Speed Carbon
  • Open Season
  • Prince of Persia
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids
  • Red Steel
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent
  • Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
  • Trauma Center: Second Opinion
  • Wii Sports

    Which means that the following games will make up the rest of the Wii launch in the rest of 2006:

  • Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2
  • Elebits
  • Happy Feet
  • Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
  • Metal Slug Anthology
  • Rapala Tournament Fishing
  • Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
  • The Ant Bully
  • The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
  • World Series of Poker

    Those titles will be followed up by the following games in early 2007:

  • Bust-A-Move Revolution
  • Dance Factory
  • Meet the Robinsons
  • Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
  • Rampage: Total Destruction
  • Sidewinder
  • Sonic and the Secret Rings
  • SSX
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • The Godfather
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour

    It's important to note that none of these lists includes former "confirmed for day one titles" Dragon Quest Swords, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Blitz The League. Their ommission from the press conference most likely means they have been delayed.

    Finally, Nintendo has topped off this avalanche of Wii titles with the announcement that a Wii version of Big Brain Academy is in the works.
