News: Splinter Cell: Double Agent joins the Wii party.

Ubisoft has announced they are expanding their lineup of Wii launch titles to include Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent. For those keeping score at home, this announcement means Ubisoft will have eight titles available on day one for the Wii.

?We are very excited to bring Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent to the Wii this Christmas season,? said John Parkes, director of marketing at Ubisoft EMEA. ?The Splinter Cell franchise has always translated very well across multiple platforms and we are confident that the Wii version will continue the tradition of maximising the capabilities of each respective video game console platform.?

No Wii-specific features were announced, but that Nintendo press briefing is only a day away...
