News: The untitled game is coming to unknown next-gen consoles at a to be determined date.

LucasArts and Day 1 Studios (the team behind the MechAssault games) have announced they will be joining forces on a game for next-gen systems.

The unknown game will use new characters created by Day 1 and will be published by LucasArts. The game currently has no title and LucasArts did not reveal which of the three next-gen systems the game would be gracing.

УLucasArts is determined to deliver outstanding new ideas to next-generation consoles, and our partnership with the great people at Day 1 Studios creates another opportunity for us to bring innovation and creativity to the market,Ф said Peter Hirschmann, Vice President of Product Development at LucasArts. УThe phenomenal technology created by Day 1 directly affects gameplay in extremely innovative waysЧ and it perfectly complements the engaging story and intriguing characters you'd expect of a LucasArts title.Ф

УWe wanted to work with a publisher who would set the bar sky-high,Ф said Denny Thorley, President of Day 1 Studios, УIt's a privilege to work with the creative minds behind some of the most successful franchises in entertainment history, and we are inspired by the opportunity to work with LucasArts on their first entirely new property specifically for next-generation consoles.Ф

We'll have more on this new collaboration soon.
