News: Break out your Atari Paddles and a spindle of 2600 cartridges to prepare for this November's Atari Anthology.

Atari's upcoming Atari Anthology collection covering arcade and Atari 2600 hits might just be the largest compilation ever. Spanning 85 different games, it covers Atari's early catalog from Asteroids to Yar's Revenge and everything in between. The Anthology is being developed by Digital Eclipse, the same band of old schoolers that worked on last year's Midway Arcade Treasures.

"An entire generation of Atari 2600 and classic arcade game fans have been clamoring for a chance to relive that addictive fun, and now they finally can with Atari Anthology," said Nancy MacIntyre, Vice President of Marketing for Atari's Beverly Studio. "With 85 authentic Atari titles and all original gameplay, Atari Anthology appeals to a diverse audience of both dedicated and casual players alike."

Atari Anthology will include a lot of bonus features, many similar to the Activision Anthology including Trippy Mode, Time Challenge and Double Speed games. The game will retail for the compilation friendly price of $19.99 and it is scheduled to ship for the PS2 and Xbox on November 26.
