The May 2003 issue of PSM includes a juicy bit of gossip from Mortal Kombat guru Ed Boon that Mortal Kombat 6 is well into development and should ship sometime in 2004. No real details were released yet, and the idea of an official press release is a long time away, but online play was discussed as a possibility. IGN.com is also reporting that they have confirmed through their Midway contacts that online play will be included.
We don't know yet which systems Mortal Kombat 6 will debut on, but when we know anything, including when the game is officially announced, we'll let you know.
