News: It's On Tour according to EA.

EA Sports BIG has announced the next in the SSX series, SSX On Tour, for the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox. The game is once again being developed by EA Canada and is currently scheduled for release this winter.

EA is promising a fresh new take on the series and has said SSX On Tour will feature an all-star cast of the series' best racers. The "Tour" part of the On Tour title.

"SSX On Tour is a completely fresh take on the SSX franchise," said Steve Barcia, senior producer on the game. "Building on the core speed and trick gameplay that has been so successful in the past, you can now choose your way to become a mountain rockstar."
