Final Fantasy XI Makes It Easy To Find Old Friends With ReFriender

News: If it has been a while since you last played Final Fantasy XI, or you want to try and find some friends, Square Enix has a new tool for you.

Square Enix has revealed that they have released a new tool in Final Fantasy XI that will help you find old and lost friends. The FFXII ReFriender aids players in reuniting with friends that shared past adventures, resuming their journey, and even seeking out that “certain someone” with whom they roamed the land of Vanadiel in years past.

Since the start of the game’s service in 2002, Final Fantasy XI has continued to evolve alongside the many regular players of the game and is now celebrating its 16th anniversary. Starting today and through Tuesday, November 20, new, old and lapsed players alike can help celebrate the occasion by treating themselves to the Welcome Back Campaign and Discount Campaign.

Welcome Back Campaign: Beginning on November 9, 2018 at 12:00 AM PST through November 20 at 12:00 AM PST, all players who have subscribed to PlayOnline/Final Fantasy XI services in the past may play Final Fantasy XI free of charge. Discount Campaign: Through Friday, November 30, digital versions of the Seekers of Adoulin expansion pack and the Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition will be available at discounted prices. Full details may be found here.
