News: Approximately 200 species will be found in Rockstar’s latest title that includes hunting, fishing, and more.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is approximately one month away from release. Earlier today Rockstar revealed some of the wildlife that you will encounter during your time with the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature around 200 species that will populate the world across a wide variety of climates and habitats.
Some of the wildlife that you will come across include the following:
The California Valley Coyote
The Whitetail Buck
The Eastern Turkey Vulture
The Bald Eagle
The American Alligator
The Tennessee Walker
The North American Brown Bear (Grizzly)
The Lake Sturgeon
The Banded Gila Monster
The Morgan Horse
Hunting wildlife in Red Dead Redemption 2 will provide valuable resources such as meat, hides and other useful materials. If you are hunting an animal and your first shot is not fatal, the animal will try to escape. You will have to track it by following clues such as a blood trail. You will want to be sure to select the proper tool for the job though to get the cleanest kill possible.
