Darksiders III finally has a release date and it might be sooner than you think. THQ Nordic has finally told us that you will be able to get your hands on the next adventure in the Darksiders franchise beginning on November 27, 2018. Along with the release date announcement came news of some pre-order bonuses, in addition to the different editions of the game that will be available. For starters, anyone who pre-orders at participating retailers will get the Fury armor DLC. This is being described as an original skin for Fury’s base armor what will help set her apart and you will be able to see it while playing the game.
There will of course be a digital version of the game in addition to a physical version. If you decide to go the digital route than there will be three different versions to choose from. These different versions will be as follows:
Standard Edition - $60/£45
Base game
Deluxe Edition - $72/£50
Base game
Bonus armor skin
Two paid DLC packs that will launch in the future
Blades & Whip Edition - $90/£59
Base game
Bonus armor skin
Two paid DLC packs that will launch in the future
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition
If you pre-order one of these versions you will receive 24-hour early access, meaning you will be able to play the game one day early on November 26. With those three versions outlined there are a couple of things that should be noted. As you can see the price points look a little strange. The Deluxe Edition is normally $79.99 with the Blades & Whip Edition being normally $99.99. If you pre-order them right now though you will get a discount, which you can see above.
Additionally, if you choose to purchase the Blades & Whip Edition you will not have immediate access to Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition. Once again, you will not have immediate access. These games will become playable for you beginning November 26, the day before the release of Darksiders III. This is a really strange decision and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but, for now, that is how it is. So please don’t buy the Blades & Whip Edition and expect to be able to play Darksiders 1 and 2 anytime soon. With all of that said though, if you are an Xbox Game Pass member, both Darksiders 1 and 2 are currently a part of that program so you can download and play them right now as a Game Pass member.
For those of you who prefer to go the physical route there are some pretty big collector’s editions to choose from. First is the actual Darksiders III: Collector’s Edition that will be available for approximately $150. This will include the following:
Premium Box
Fury Figurine about 29cm - 11” high

In addition to that collector’s edition is the massive Darksiders III: Apocalypse Edition. This will set you back a whopping $400 but comes with some items that big Darksiders fans will definitely want. The Apocalypse Edition includes the following:
