News: A new and different take on a puzzle game will arrive on Microsoft and Sony’s platform soon.
Gorogoa is heading to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Currently available on Nintendo Switch, the App Store, Steam, and GOG ,Gorogoa is a handcrafted puzzle game developed and illustrated by Jason Roberts. Some of the key features for this title include:
An elegant evolution of the puzzle genre, Gorogoa is told through distinguished puzzle mechanics and thousands of meticulously detailed hand-drawn illustrations.
Comprised of lavishly illustrated panels that players arrange and combine in imaginative ways to solve puzzles, Gorogoa’s gameplay is impeccably simple, yet satisfyingly complex.
Uncover a subtle and complex fable: a story that spans a lifetime, folded back on itself in time and space like origami.
Navigate storybook illustrations as though they were 3D spaces. Explore the deep and distant details of lavishly intricate scenes.
Solve puzzles using a unique and astonishing mechanic, based on impossible visual illusion. Position, connect, and stack multiple interactive scenes to form new scenes and further advance the story.
In Gorogoa, players rearrange a few tiles on a simple grid to solve puzzles, placing them next to or on top of one another. But each tile is also a window into a different part of the game world –or perhaps into a different world – and each window plays like its own little game. Even so, the key to progressing never lies within one tile, but in the connections between tiles.
