News: A new Double XP weekend is here and if you play your cards right you can earn a substantial amount of XP in a short amount of time.

Sledgehammer Games has revealed that this weekend will be a Double XP weekend in Call of Duty: WWII. The Double XP will be for standard multiplayer, Nazi Zombies and for upgrading your weapon. This Double XP weekend will run from Friday January 5 through Monday, January 8. If you are getting close to hitting Prestige then this would be a great time to jump back into battle in the WWII arena. If you want to get points really quickly be sure to play the “War” mode. You can get a good amount of XP just playing that mode normally but when Double XP is turned on...the amount of XP you can earn in a short of amount of time is pretty damn fantastic. You will, of course, need to still play fairly well but if you play the objectives as opposed to simply worrying about your K/D then you should do just fine.

In addition to the “War” mode you can also get a good amount of points in Kill Confirmed. In this mode you have to kill the enemy and then pick up his dog tags that fell to the ground. You can also grab dog tags from your team to deny the other team points for the kill. You will get even more points if you recover your own dog tags that are on the field from when your character was killed.

There are many other modes to play but those two have been great for me in terms of earning XP. Just be sure to play the objective of the game mode and you will do fine and earn a lot of XP in the process. So with that said...will you be playing some Call of Duty: WWII this weekend to level up quickly?
