News: You can now use Spotify to listen to music in the background while you are going through your favorite game.
Spotify is now available on Xbox One according to Major Nelson. Beginning today it is available on Xbox One in 34 markets around the world. All you have to do is download the Spotify app from the Xbox store and then you should be good to go. You are then able to select from your saved music, search the full catalog or browse pre-curated gaming playlists in the Gaming hub.
If you want to you can even take a listen at Major Nelson’s curated playlist by clicking here. You will be able to play your music on demand whether you are a free or premium Spotify user. Please keep in mind though that if you are a free user you will probably still get ads from time to time that you have listen to.

Search for any song, album or playlist
