The Nintendo Switch has now been on the market for almost three weeks and Nintendo is doing what they can to make it keeps up its momentum. They recently held a Nintendo Rally event where three teams comprised of popular Youtube personalities competed in three different games at different locations throughout Los Angeles to crown a champion. The Youtube channels Smosh Games took on Game Grumps to see who would reign supreme.
The three teams raced across Los Angeles to play various Nintendo Switch games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, ARMS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to see who could earn the most points. The teams not only played Nintendo Switch games in unexpected locations around the city, but they also played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during their commute, completing fun challenges along the way.
The objective of the overall rally was to get more points than the other teams. If you won a game then your team would be rewarded 30 points. As they were driven from location to location they also had the demo version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to play and a checklist of challenges they needed to complete. Once all of the games were played the Nintendo representatives took a look at the checklist sheets to see who had completed the most tasks in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and gave the team that did the most more points to add on to their final total.
