Quantum Break Cross-Buy and Console Bundle Revealed by Microsoft and Remedy

News: Microsoft has revealed when you can play Quantum Break as well as a really nice console bundle and a nice cross-buy promotion for pre-orders.

Quantum Break is a highly anticipated title from Remedy and it is now available for pre-order and pre-load on Xbox One. Set for release on April 5, 2016, Quantum Break promises to be a unique experience with one part being the game and the other part being a live action show. In addition to the game being released Microsoft has revealed that there is going to be a special Quantum Break Xbox One bundle as well.

The Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle features a 500GB Cirrus White console and matching wireless controller, a full-game download of Quantum Break and a full-game download of Alan Wake as well as The Signal and The Writer DLC content, playable soon on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. In addition to that you should also get a code for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare which was a standalone XBLA game on Xbox 360 (currently available to play now via backwards compatibility). This Xbox One bundle will be available for $349 USD beginning on March 29 which gives you time to get the console set up and Quantum Break downloaded before it is released on April 5. The Xbox One Quantum Break bundle will also be available with standard black hardware in most regions worldwide as well beginning on March 29.

Microsoft also revealed that if you play Quantum Break on Xbox One or the Windows 10 version your saves will be synced to one version or the other. There is also a great deal going on where if you purchase the digital version of Quantum Break on your Xbox One then you will get the Windows 10 version for free. They didn’t go over specifics on how they are doing that but one has to assume you will receive the free code in an email. It must be noted though that this promotion giving you the Windows 10 version for free only applies to pre-orders. If you purchase the digital version of Quantum Break after the game’s release you will not get the Windows 10 version to go along with it.
