News: Amazon has just revealed that they have rolled out a seamless redemption experience for when you purchase something digitally on 3DS or Wii U.

”Amazon"

Amazon has revealed that they have just made it much easier to buy digital content on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. There is a simple three step process so that when you buy the digital version of Super Mario Maker, for example, it will be automatically sent to your console, similar to how when you buy a book on Kindle it gets automatically sent to your Kindle device.

Step 1: Complete the purchase of your Nintendo Digital Content on Amazon

Step 2: Click on the Nintendo Network link on the Thank You page and log into your Nintendo Network Account.

Step 3: Your content code will auto populate. Just click “Redeem” and your content will be sent directly to your Nintendo device.

This works for a wide range of Nintendo games from eShop titles, Virtual Console games and big AAA games such as the aforementioned Super Mario Maker. One of the nice things about this is that you don’t have to necessarily run out and buy credit for the eShop as much now since you can buy your game(s) off of Amazon and have them delivered to your console.

To check it out for yourself, you can visit Amazon's digital Nintendo page by clicking here. Will you use Amazon to buy your digital Nintendo games? Tell us what you think below.
