Tales From the Borderlands Episode 4 of 5 Will Be Released This Week

News: Telltale has confirmed that episode four from the Tales of the Borderlands saga will be released later this week.

Telltale has revealed that episode four for Tales from the Borderlands will be released this week. The episode will be available Tuesday, August 18th on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, and on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. It will also be available on Wednesday, August 19th on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and on Thursday, August 20th for compatible iOS and Android-based devices via in-app purchase.

"Between blasting into space, traitorous allies, and one of the most madcap action sequences we've ever produced, this is perhaps the most exciting episode yet in our collaboration with Gearbox and 2K," said Kevin Bruner, CEO and co-founder of Telltale Games. "At this point in the story, players have come to know our unlikely band of heroes, paving the way for some surprisingly emotional moments. Unimaginable wealth and power are finally within reach, and players will need to be prepared to make some of the toughest choices so far as we lead into the season finale."

Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events seen in Borderlands 2,Tales from the Borderlands is a five part episodic game series full of Borderlands' trademark humor following two adventurers on their quest for greatness.

In this penultimate episode of the season, captured by Vallory and her goons, Rhys and Fiona are forced to continue the search for the Vault beacon - at gunpoint. The beacon is on the Hyperion moon base - Helios - while our heroes are on Pandora... so there's the pesky cold void of death known as 'space' to overcome. Even with assistance from a familiar face, and with a worryingly helpful Handsome Jack hitching a ride in Rhys' head, getting on board the ominous 'H' is going to take every drop of guile, and quite possibly all the spunk you've got. Sacrifices will be made - can you make the tough choices needed to succeed?
