News: Microsoft showed off some gameplay for Crackdown 3 finally and promised 100% destructible environments and more.

”Crackdown

Microsoft revealed at their press briefing earlier today that Crackdown 3 will be coming to Xbox One in 2016. During the briefing they showed off some gameplay (see below) and rattled off some impressive stats such as the Xbox One cloud allowing them to do things that wouldn’t otherwise be possible on Xbox One. Whether that actually comes to fruition remains to be seen but it sounds cool at least. They also stated that Crackdown 3 will have 100% destructible environments so you can cause as much destruction and devastation as you want. Additionally, at the very end of the Gamescom trailer they seemed to tease that online co op might feature up to eight people. If this turns out to be true it could turn out to be amazing to go through the game with a bunch of your friends. For those not familiar with Crackdown 3, the premise is below:

”Stop crime as a super-powered Agent of justice in Crackdown 3’s hyper-powered sandbox of mayhem and destruction. Explore the heights of a futuristic city, race through the streets in a transforming vehicle, and use your powerful abilities to stop a ruthless criminal empire. Developed by original creator Dave Jones, Crackdown 3 delivers cooperative mayhem and an all-new multiplayer mode where destruction is your ultimate weapon powered by Microsoft Cloud.”

Check out the Gamescom trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you be picking up Crackdown 3 when it becomes available next year?
