Gamescom 2015 is under way and Microsoft started it with a bang with a loaded media briefing showing off some games we are going to get to play this year as well as some of what we can expect in 2016. Some of the highlights for the media briefing includes:
Quantum Break now has a release date of April 5, 2016
Crackdown 3 will feature 100% destructible environments with a multiplayer beta slated for Summer 2016.
Xbox Chat Pad for Xbox One revealed with audio controls and a jack for your headphones. It will be compatible with all controllers and feature two programmable keys as well.
All future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be backwards compatible on Xbox One
Backwards Compatibility will become available to everyone in November
The new Windows 10 Xbox One interface will arrive in November
Killer Instinct Season 3 will arrive in March 2016 and will feature “Rash” from Battletoads
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will feature cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs
