Sackboy is Invading the World of Costume Quest 2

News: If you have the PS3 or PS4 version of Costume Quest 2 you can download Sackboy and experience some new content.

Double Fine and Midnight City have revealed that Sackboy, the lovable protagonist from Sony’s “LittleBigPlanet” series, is now available as a free download for Costume Quest 2 on PS4 and PS3. Much more than just a piece of DLC, the addition of Sackboy to Costume Quest 2 is a fully fleshed upgrade to the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game. To take on the malicious Dr. Orel White and stop his maniacal plan to rid the world of candy, you must seek out four separate, hidden pieces to assemble the beloved character. In Explore Mode, Sackboy is a true DIY masterpiece fashioned from a burlap sack, buttons, thread and a whole lot of love. While transformed, he takes on his more familiar fabric form to tangle with Dr. White's demented dental delinquents. During combat, Sackboy charges up to deliver the 'Little Big Beat Down,' proving big pain can come from small packages.

For those who might not be familiar with the Costume Quest franchise, you trick, treat and pick a fight with villainous dental soldiers in Costume Quest 2, the sweet sequel to Double Fine's hit original, Costume Quest, which turned fans of all ages into candy obsessed crusaders. This RPG adventure includes a range of new features and gameplay improvements to double the amount of mischievous fun. Explore spooky time-traversing landscapes, don adorable new costumes that transform into powerful Hallo-warriors, and collect even Creepier Treat Cards to wield in combat against a legion of hygiene-obsessed baddies. Only heroic siblings Wren and Reynold can save Halloween forever.
