Fast & Furious DLC Expansion Coming to Forza Horizon 2 for Free

News: Microsoft and Universal have teamed up to bring the Fast and Furious to Forza Horizon 2 in a brand new expansion that you can play for free.

A new movie in the series, The Fast and the Furious is set to be released in a couple months and earlier today Microsoft revealed a partnership with Universal Partnerships & Licensing to bring an exclusive experience to Xbox fans. For the first time ever they are teaming up to create an original adventure in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious.

According to Xbox Wire, “In Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, you’ll be recruited by Fast & Furious expert mechanic Tej Parker, voiced by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, to source cars for the Fast & Furious crew’s next big mission. You’ll take part in a series of thrilling car challenges set in the idyllic south of France, and inspired by both the “Fast & Furious” movies and Forza’s awesome, pulse-pounding gameplay.”

As you complete some of the challenges that are presented to you, you will unlock new cars that you can drive throughout the open world in free play. You will also be able to take photos of your favorite cars and share them via the official Forza site and the Forza Hub app exclusively on Xbox One. Additionally, once the screenshot feature goes live for everyone, you will be able to take screenshots while playing the game and sharing them with friends with a few button presses.

“Forza is synonymous with racing and fun, so it’s only natural for us to work with one of the most celebrated action franchises in the world,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. “This is a great way to bring Forza players into the world of ‘Fast & Furious,’ and in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, every fan will get a chance to go wheels-first into the exciting action of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.”

Sound good to you? Well not only do you get to play this new content in Forza Horizon 2 but you get to do so for free. Yep, this expansion will be available to you at no charge for a limited two week period. You can download this expansion for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One beginning on March 27 and going through April 10. Once you download this new content it is yours to keep and play as much as you want. If you miss this two week window to get it for free then the new content will cost $10.
