News: Battlefield Hardline early access, exclusive to Xbox One gamers, will allow you to play a full 10 hours before the game’s release on March 17.

Battlefield: Hardline

Battlefield Hardline is coming out March 17, however, EA has just released a new trailer showing off early access that Xbox One gamers will get beginning on March 12 as part of their EA Access membership. Members will be the first to jump into the fastest Battlefield ever for a full 10 hours, playing both single-player and multiplayer before the game is released. The trial contains all the multiplayer maps and game modes, giving you first dibs on tons of content never before available to gamers. You'll also get first crack on the gritty story, experiencing the prologue and first chapter of the thrilling crime drama in Battlefield Hardline crafted by the Visceral team.

Battlefield Hardline lets players trigger jaw-dropping “Levolution” events as they shoot out subterranean grow-labs, blow open bank vaults, or tear apart the streets of Los Angeles. Introducing a new arsenal of guns and gadgets, including stun guns, zip lines, and grappling hooks, players take on a bold new level of strategy as both cops and criminals on every map. Maintaining the epic vehicular combat fans have come to expect from Battlefield, Battlefield Hardline ushers in a fast and fresh urban approach to vehicles with loot-laden getaway motorcycles and nimble police choppers to navigate sprawling skyscrapers.

Karl Magnus Troedsson, Vice President and Group General Manager of DICE and Visceral, says, "We’re always looking for new, exciting directions to take the Battlefield franchise, but it has to be a great experience that’s driven by passion and stays true to the heritage of Battlefield. Visceral has a great track record of creating emotionally charged stories with unforgettable atmosphere and we’re excited to see them bring this approach to single player and to see how they add to Battlefield’s best in class multiplayer action. Hardline is fun, fresh and yet still very much a Battlefield game."

Check out the EA Access early access reveal trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you get an early start on Battlefield Hardline on March 12 or will you wait until March 17 when the game is released?
