News: EA Access members can now download and play Madden NFL 15 early on Xbox One as well as pre-order and pre-load the annual football franchise.
Madden NFL 15 is now available for EA Access members as part of the five day early access programs. You can download Madden NFL 15 right now off of Xbox Live and play it for up to six hours before the release on Tuesday. Then, if you choose to purchase, Madden NFL 15, your progress will carry over. If you choose to purchase the digital version, you will be able to get it for $53.99 thanks to the 10% discount that EA Access members receive. If you choose to purchase the physical version at your favorite game store it will be the normal price of $59.99.
The arrival of Madden NFL 15 today also ushered in one of the most requested features for Xbox One, pre-loading. The Xbox One is now capable of pre-ordering and pre-loading games, although Madden NFL 15 is the only game that currently utilizes it. As you can see in the picture above, EA states:
“Xbox One game expected to release on 8/26/2014. You may download the game from Xbox Live before then, but it will not be playable until 12:01 AM PDT / 3:01AM EDT on the release date.”
Earlier today EA and Microsoft were having some problems with Madden NFL 15 downloading and then starting up once the download was completed. Those problems should be fixed by now so you can enjoy your trial run with Madden NFL 15 and earn some achievements in the process.
