News: Microsoft reveals the two games Xbox Live Gold members will receive throughout the month of February.



Dead Island

Major Nelson has revealed what games gold members will be receiving free for the month of February with one of them being an Xbox 360 game and the other a XBLA title. The first title that will be free beginning tomorrow if the first Dead Island. A holiday paradise gone mad after a zombie outbreak. The player’s only chance to survive is to escape from the island. Dead Island combines first-person action with a heavy focus on melee combat, character development and customization of a vast array of weapons. All of these features are presented in a dark zombie story with a campaign that can be played with up to 4 players in co-op mode. The game currently runs for $19.99 on Xbox Live so you are saving $20 by downloading this free between February 1 and February 15.

On February 16 Toy Soldiers: Cold War takes over as the free game from Signal Studios. The Cold War is decided when ‘80s era action toys come alive and wage war! Toy Soldiers: Cold War blends intense first person combat with addictive action strategy, whether you’re scrapping solo or jumping into the fray with friends. Battle in campaign, competitive, co-op modes or fight for the highest score in mini-games! Toy Soldiers: Cold War is normally available for $14.99 so you are saving a grand total of $35 in the month of February with these free games.
