News: New rumors and images have shown up online indicating that a beta for Titanfall might be taking place in mid February.
Titanfall is set to be released on March 11, however, it appears we might be getting a beta before then to whet your appetite. Current rumors suggest that the Titanfall beta will begin on February 14 and will run for five days ending on February 19. This rumor comes from Zappos and Xboxygen.com, along with a picture advertising the Titanfall beta. The first picture was taken at a Micromania in France which is basically like Gamestop in the US.
The rumors are also suggesting that the beta will be available exclusively through Micromania as well as Gamestop over in the U.S. This news follows on the heels of a closed Alpha test that Titanfall recently had where a select few got to play the game and test the waters, so to speak. Respawn basically called that a “limited technical test” but this beta looks like it will be much more open. Although with Titanfall being less than a month away at that point it is much more of a stress test demo then it is a beta.
Titanfall is currently slated to be released on March 11 on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. If you pre-order at Gamestop they are also offering a collectible poster, The Divide, when you pick up your game. This is, of course, while supplies last. What do you think of the possibility of a Titanfall beta in mid February? If you haven’t done so already, would this convince you to place a pre-order at Gamestop?
