News: Check out what Sony is giving PlayStation Plus members this week and also find out what games are leaving soon.

Saints Row The Third added to PS Plus

PlayStation Plus keeps rolling along and Sony has revealed the free titles that members can expect to receive this week. When this week’s update goes live tomorrow both PS3 and Vita gamers should be happy as we will receive a game for each system. Once PSN updates tomorrow PS Plus members will receive:

  • Saints Row: The Third - PS3 - Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to a new city.

  • Gods Eater Burst - PSP/Vita - In Gods Eater Burst, the earth is plagued by altered beasts known as Aragami. The player is a new member of an elite force created to wield the God Arc (the only weapon capable of killing the Aragami) and devour the hostile gods. The player’s mission is to defeat the Aragami and gather material from them for research, but the player soon will realize they are being drawn into a giant conspiracy that will irreversibly alter the fate of humanity.

  • In addition to those two titles becoming part of the Instant Game Collection the following items will be leaving soon:

  • Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend - Leaves IGC on June 25

  • Vanquish - Leaves IGC on June 25

  • Hamilton’s Great Adventure - Current discounts end on June 25

  • Draw Slasher - Current discounts end on June 25

  • What do you think about this week’s update? With Saints Row 4 being released in approximately two months it is a great time to play Saints Row The Third. What about Gods Eater Burst? Are you looking forward to playing that?
