Microsoft unveiled a new logo this morning, a change that it says is its first in 25 years. This new version is more blocky than the stylized Microsoft Windows logos we've come to know, but the four colors have been retained.
Certainly taking cues from Apple to keep things simple, the logo doesn't change much, especially compared to the rather daring, colorless (except for the blue background) new Windows 8 logo. You can see a comparison of the various Microsoft brand logos in a short YouTube video the company created to celebrate the 25-years-in-the-making unveiling.
