Fortnite News: A new game from Cliffy B already? It's a "social survival horror" game where players work together in the day to brace for a night full of zombies.

Fortnite, the upcoming release from Epic Games, is a step away from the muscle-headed military games that made the studio's reputation. The developer best known for Gears of War has a stylized survival horror title on the way, and has sent no one other than Cliff Bleszinski to sell you on it. Take a look:

While Fortnite does have similarities to Horde mode from Gears, Bleszinski has promised to put the ?survival? back in survival horror. A big part of the game is about using the daylight hours to gather the resources you need to survive the zombie-filled night. On gathering resource Bleszinski says,

"Encumbrance is actually a big factor. You can go out there and start harvesting and harvesting but when you realize your backpack is three times as big as it needs to be, you'll need to shed some pounds real quick to get back to base."

No release date has been set for Fortnite. Gaming Target will keep you abreast of the latest. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
