News: Night vision goggles > RC car. Just sayin'.

In what's quickly becoming an early November tradition, Activision has released the latest Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Developed by Treyarch and centered around the Cold War, the title attempts to bridge the franchise's World War II roots with its newfound Modern Warfare mentality. And don't forget the fancy Prestige Edition of the game that comes complete with a remote control car with a working spy camera!

Other publishers are keeping their latest hardcore offerings away from store shelves, but there's still plenty of other new releases. In the great spirit of counterprogramming, this week gamers will also be able to play...

  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! on the DS.
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I on the DS, PC, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360.
  • The Sly Collection, which includes Sly Cooper, Sly 2 and Sly 3... now in eye-popping 3D!
  • Karaoke Revolution: Glee for the Wii.

    And finally...
  • THQ's uDraw Studio, a drawing pad for the Wii.
