News: Capcom hosts a "Fight Club" for its fans.

WHO: Capcom + Fans
WHAT: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - Fight Club
WHEN: Wednesday, September 22 from 8 PM to 11 PM
WHERE: 437 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
(Google Maps)

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds doesn't release until 2011, yet the hype for this 2D/3D fighter is at a fever pitch. Luckily, Capcom fans in and around the Chicago area don't have to wait until next year to get a taste of the game. The publisher is throwing down in Illinois by hosting another community-focused "Fight Club," this time featuring a demo of its forthcoming Vs. game.

This is the same MvC3 demo that appeared at the Tokyo Game Show a few weeks ago. Only, you don't have to fly 6,313 miles (yes, we looked it up) to try it out. In addition to being able to play the game early, the first 100 people who show up will walk away with swag.

For gamers who won't wind up in the Windy City for tonight's event, you can watch the two latest trailers from the TGS demo as a consolation prize:
