News: But it only includes three games.

Did you look on this morning's "Buy a PSP Go, Get 10 Free Games" offer from Sony Europe with envy? Well, Sony America has announced a similar program, but you may still feel a twinge of envy as the European deal is a lot better than what we're getting on this side of the Atlantic.

Instead of ten free games, each new PSP Go purchased betweened now and March 31, 2011 will include a free download voucher for three games. The three freebies are:

  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters
  • SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3

While we get seven fewer free games, Sony also plans to drop the price on a wide variety of PSP software. Besides adding four games to the PSP's $19.99 Greatest Hits collection, the company is also creating a new $9.99 line known as "PSP Favorites."

The new Greatest Hits game include:

  • Gran Turismo
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Resistance: Retribution
  • Secret Agent Clank

And the initial $9.99 Favorites lineup will include:

  • Ape Escape: On the Loose
  • Buzz! Master Quiz
  • Hot Shots Golf Open Tee
  • Justice League Heroes
  • LocoRoco 2
  • Manhunt 2
  • Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play
  • Patapon 2
  • Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection
  • PixelJunk Monster Deluxe
  • Silent Hill: Origins
  • The Sims 2
  • SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo
  • Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
  • Twisted Metal: Head On
  • The Warriors
  • And Many More...
