News: Alan Wake shines a light on this week's new releases.

After all the delays and a complete overhaul in how the game actually plays, Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment are finally ready to release Alan Wake for the Xbox 360 next week. Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy 2 didn't have any of those development problems, but it's also scheduled to be released this week for the Wii.

Other games on the docket for this week include the latest Prince of Persia game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (DS, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360); Rockstar's open world western, Red Dead Redemption (PS3, Xbox 360); and Disney's reality TV racer, Split/Second (PC, PS3, Xbox 360).
