News: Five more maps for $15.

Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling was recently interviewed by Microsoft's Major Nelson. During the chat, Bowling revealed some details about the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack, the Resurgence Pack.

According to Bowling, the pack will once again include five maps and carry a 1200 Microsoft Point ($15) price tag. Two classic Call of Duty 4 maps, "Strike" and "Vacant", will be included along with three new maps:

  • Carnival: A "desolated amusement park" that comes complete with a rollercoaster, fun house and The World of Tomorrow.

  • Fuel: A "sniper haven" that takes place on an oil refinery.

  • Trailer Park: A small mazelike map that encourages players to sneak between the "super tight corridors" of the trailers.

The Resurgence Pack will be available to download for Xbox 360 owners on June 3, with a PC and PlayStation 3 coming later.

    We'll have more soon.
