News: Maybe. But it looks pretty likely.

1UP was treated to a big surprise when they opened up their copy of Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening: a postcard hinting at a release date for Dragon Age 2.

The postcard (pictured above) includes the familar blood red Dragon Age dragon. It also includes a date, February 1, 2011. More importantly, a quick look at a calendar reveals that February 1, 2011 falls on a Tuesday, the traditional day for new game releases.

So while EA hasn't come out and confirmed that a Dragon Age sequel will be released on February 1, 2011, they've made it look very likely. Especially in light of a recent financial report that pegged the release of the next Dragon Age game within the 1/1/2011 and 3/31/2011 quarter.

So start counting the days Dragon Age fans, February 1, 2011 is less than a year away and an "official" announcement will surely come down any time now.
