News: 343 Industries, come on down!

Did you know a new Halo game is in development in addition to Halo: Reach? It's true and Microsoft is currently hiring developers for their internal 343 Industries team to work on it.

The company has recently added a ton of new job listings to the Careers page of their Entertainment and Devices division. In addition to jobs pertaining to new Xbox Live Arcade, Natal, Halo Waypoint and Games For Windows Live projects, there are also several openings on the team that will create the next Halo game. Such as this one for a Software Development Lead (bolding mine):

"" Do you love Halo? Do you want to be part of the creation of a new game in the Halo universe? Are you passionate about the tools and infrastructure necessary to make great games? The MGS Halo studio, 343 Industries, is looking for a talented, experienced development lead to help create the next generation of Halo tools and technical infrastructure. ""

The job listings did not reveal any further details about the next adventure of the Master Chief (or even if the game will star the Master Chief). But we know the Halo franchise will continue after Bungie finishes their run with the series this Fall.

Who knows, maybe we'll even get an official announcement soon.
