News: Have you been Left 4 Dead by your Assassin's Creed to your God of War?

A few trained killers highlight this week's new release slate.

First, the battle between the Assassins and the Templars continues in Assassin's Creed II on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Companion games for the DS (Assassin's Creed II: Discovery) and PSP (Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines) are also being released this week. Next, a new batch of zombie hunters take on the Infected in Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC and Xbox 360. Speaking of zombie hunters, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield take on the walking undead again in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for the Wii. Finally, Kratos takes his war against the gods into HD with the God of War Collection on the PS3.

Other new releases this week include Indy's second adventure in Legoland, Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues (DS, PC, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360) and Sackboy's first portable adventure in the PSP edition of LittleBigPlanet. Tony Hawk also flies again with the first peripheral-based entry in the extreme sports series, Tony Hawk: Ride (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360).

Finally, Wii controllers get dangerous this week as the black Wii Remote/MotionPlus combo and black Nunchuk are now available.
