News: Geek icon Nathan Fillion talks about his role in the game as Sgt. Buck.

Your hero and mine, Nathan Fillion, is no stranger to video games. He has previously voiced characters in Halo 3 and Jade Empire while being a pretty active gamer himself. For those unfamiliar with his video game voice work, he also played one of television's great characters, Captain Malcolm Reynolds, on the short-lived Firefly and its movie spinoff Serenity. He currently stars in Castle on ABC.

In this Fall's Halo 3: ODST, Fillion goes one step further with his video game ambitions and will take on a starring role in the game as Sgt. Buck. And not only will he supply his voice to the game, but Buck's appearance was modeled after Fillion.

MSNBC's Tech Watch recently sat down with him and chatted about his place in the Halo universe (and gaming in general). Check it out right here:

We'll have more soon.
